Child Sponsorship

All of our kids here at Casa de Amor are a part of our sponsorship program. Each child has at least one sponsor, but many have more than one sponsor. Sometimes sponsors like to send cards or little gifts to "their" child for birthdays, Christmas, or just because! The kids love getting mail, and the letters and words of encouragement are so uplifting for them.  

This week, one of our big girls (A.M.) at House 3 received a letter from one sponsor and a gift from another. She was SO excited! I took a few pictures of her with her gifts, but unfortunately I had forgotten my camera at home and only had my phone so the quality isn't so great!

It was so sweet to watch A.M. open her gifts! She carefully studied each gift and had the same happy reaction to each one. If you know her, I'm sure you can hear her "WooHoo!" that she always says when she's excited! She picked out a few items for herself (glow-in-the-dark butterflies (which she later shared), page of stickers, and a princess puzzle) and shared the others with the other girls.
