C. had a much better morning than he had yesterday! His IVs and tubes continue to come out and he was much more awake this morning than he was yesterday. When I arrived, he was happy to see me and spent the next half hour talking, playing, and laughing. He never once got upset which I was happy to see! He asked to drink water several times and was eating lunch as the visitation hour ended.
His nurse said he is doing so well that he might get to move up to a regular room tomorrow! We expected it to be at least Friday or the weekend when he would be moved up so it was a nice surprise. I'll update you tomorrow!
