Bienvenida, N.!

This evening we received a new little girl! She's just over a year old and was brought to us due to physical abuse. Her tiny body has several bruises, scratches, and scars. She has clearly been through a lot, and it seems that her natural reaction is to hit, which she has done to several of the big kids already. Other than her hitting, she has been happy to interact with us and the other kids. I bet we'll see some big changes in her as she begins to heal and get used to being with us!
