This morning we said goodbye to V. as she went home with her adoptive parents! Her parents were so ready to take her and she was pretty happy to be with them, too. She's high maintenance, and we have definitely already noticed her not being here!
It's always hard to say goodbye when our kids leave, and even more difficult when they've been here since they were newborns. Her story is a sad one… She was left to die in a field, but thankfully, a lady heard her cries. She took newborn V. to the hospital, and then we were called. She came to Casa de Amor at just a few days old. When I arrived, she was about 3 months old, and one of our smallest/youngest. Now she's 21 months old and a bit of a diva! She needs lots of one-on-one attention and will be completely spoiled rotten by her parents! We're SO excited for her!
