A night on the town!

Tonight we took all of the older kids and our five oldest from the baby home to the Prado to look at Christmas lights! I'd heard that the Prado (one particular street with shops and restaurants) really gets decorated for Christmas but had never seen it before… We were pleasantly surprised and very impressed by their light displays! There was also a "Christmas Train" that you can ride for free, so we did that, as well.

As you can see from the pictures, none of the tías went with us so it was just the volunteers in charge. We'd be lying if we said we expected the entire evening to go smoothly, but that's exactly what happened! Having the strollers for all of the babies made it so easy, and the older kids really behaved SO well, walking beside us and helping with the babies. They deserved a treat for sure, so we stopped for ice cream at Burger King before heading home.

We've heard of a park that has Christmas lights and activities for kids, so we're thinking we may do that next week after tonight's success!
